Anticipation is growing for the Aspria Tennis Cup – BCS Trophy 2026, the twentieth edition of the ATP Challenger tournament on the clay courts of the Aspria Harbour Club in Milan. A must-see event of the tennis summer, this year’s tournament will be held from June 28th to July 5th, during the first week of Wimbledon.
This will allow Milan to host the elite group of players who typically compete in the Challenger world, those ranked between 100th and 200th, no longer “occupied” by the London Grand Slam qualifiers.
The Tournament Entry List Has Been Published
Precisely for this reason, the tournament’s Entry List features top-tier names, including tour veterans, promising youngsters, and a strong group of Italian players. Leading the list of players admitted to the main draw is Argentine Francisco Comesana, number 89 in the ATP ranking.
Then there are some very interesting names like Dusan Lajovic, already ranked in the top 30 in the world and a finalist in Monte Carlo in 2019, where he lost to our Fabio Fognini. Also watch out for Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili, who has managed to climb to 16th in the world rankings in his career.
Among the former top 100 players on the Entry List are Borna Gojo and Hugo Dellien. The latter is also part of the quartet of former winners who will return to Milan to try again for the title: alongside him, Federico Gomez, Facundo Diaz Acosta, and Marco Cecchinato.
A troop of Italians
There will be a strong Italian presence at the Aspria Tennis Cup – BCS Trophy 2026. As mentioned, Marco Cecchinato, already ranked in the top 20 in the ATP rankings, will be present, as well as reigning champion in Milan and a two-time winner on the Milanese clay. In the pursuit of a historic hat-trick, he will be joined by his compatriots Luca Nardi (already ATP No. 67 and capable of feats such as the victory over Djokovic in 2024), Francesco Passaro (former finalist at the Aspria Tennis Cup and back on the court after a wrist injury), Stefano Travaglia, Gianluca Cadenasso and Jacopo Vasamì.
The future is at Aspria Harbour Club
Jacopo Vasamì, who made it to the 2025 tournament with a stunning semifinal, is the most anticipated name for the future. Fans already admired his potential last year, and in a few weeks they’ll be able to see further improvements in 2026, which has already brought success to the 2007-born Italian.
Along with him, there’s also great anticipation for another young talent on the ATP circuit, Moise Kouamé, who wowed the French crowd at the recent Roland Garros tournament with a historic third-round showing at his home Grand Slam at just 17 years old. Milan is already dreaming of a match between him and Vasamì, in what could be the start of a rivalry in tennis’s future.
Tickets on sale
The entry list for the Aspria Tennis Cup – BCS Trophy 2026 promises a great show and eight days of top-level tennis. For this reason, fans can already reserve a seat in the stands at the Aspria Harbour Club on Via Cascina Bellaria: tickets, including those for the new Hospitality Area, are on sale through Ticketone. Alternatively, a ticket office will open at the club starting July 1st.
